Childhood Days
In age of five, Kristia was sent by her mother in school. She entered in Village Montessori School which owned by their relatives. During class hours Kristia was very naughty and talkative but despite of that she was still a consistent honor student.
At kindergarten he first learns to dance Cha-cha. Her cousin, playmate and best enemy, Mac-Mac De Leon was one of her pre-elem classmates. They are always fighting even at the school, house or anywhere they are. Sometimes they were given gloves to have a match in boxing, their older cousins taught and teased them to have fight all the time. With the same age of Kristia almost all of her cousins which also her playmates are boys.
That’s the reason why she loved robots, toy cars rather than Barbie dolls and trained to play basketball.
She took summer class after kindergarten in order to accelerate from kinder to grade one. The summer ends and she was passed but the sad thing to Kristia was Mac-Mac also passed the test of acceleration. Kristia’s mother decided not to accept that opportunity, it’s the only way for them not to become classmates again and to stop their fighting,.
First Birthday Party at School
Kristia was very sad the day before her 6th birthday because she felt that her birthday seems like an ordinary day. She didn’t know that Lourdes with the helped of her tita planned a surprise party for her. Of course being a child she wants something will happen on hr birthday. The following day, Kristia wore civilian clothes as this was a special day for her. She went to school lonely and felt sick, she was so quiet that day and just trying to sleep at her desk all alone. But she was shocked when foods and drinks were bringing at their room. She smiled and became energetic again. It was the most memorable birthday for her. All of her classmates got something from their bags, many gifts she was received even teachers and high school ates gave her a gift. It was almost as tall as height of Kristia . At the young age, her admirer told in the whole class that he loved Kristia even Kristia’s mother and adviser frighten him.
Elementary and Intermediate Stage
Kristia knew that she will never experience to transfer in any school. Her mother enrolled her together with Lorraine at same school. Being friendly and talkative, Kristia got many friends. She’s bad in the way she teased her adviser in putting a lot of foundation, and spunk the butt of her adviser to made them laugh. She was good in cooking and consistent best in arts and a member of dance troop. She’s known for being sporty. Every time their school conducted sports fest, many teams want her to become a member. She plays track and field, volleyball, table tennis and her favorite sport basketball.
During graduation she received a lot of medals and pins in both academic and extra-curricular. She got one big trophy for being the most valuable player for playing basketball and a bouquet of flowers for being best in sports attire female category. She was surprised when receiving one of her awards because her grandmother and her tita told her that tri to Baguio was her prize.
Teenage Montessorian
After Graduation, her grandmother wants Kristia to transfer in Village Montessori School in Bulacan for free. Because her granddaughter baby Zyra Ooing wants a playmate and she loved Kristia to be the one. Kristia don’t want to transfer and become separated with her family and friends yet she didn’t refuse but just agreed to that request. It was hard for her to say no especially to her grandma.
First Year High School
All the things needed in school was brought by her tita (daughter of her grandma), set of uniforms, books, complete school supplies and many more. First day in Bulacan her grandma accompanied Kristia to choose what section she wants to get in. there were three sections, the Love, Joy and Peace. First section was nice but students are not, all their eyes were looking at her, based in their actions some were angry. They tried to enter the next section Kristia told to her grandma that section was better and she chose it instantly. Most of her classmates are transferees. First week of staying in Bulacan was difficult for her because of many adjustments, ever night she was crying, thinking for her family and close friends on Nueva Ecija. Few weeks after, she already enjoying her stay and the new school. Getting a low grades in English subject Kristia assigned to have a tutor under the instruction of her English teacher Ms. Carla.
First Love
Kristia experienced her real first romance at the age of sixteen with a fifteen year old classmate Carl Torres. She was a freshman when first courted by Carl. They were not close from each other Kristia was bitter to him because of the bullies he was making in the room. Carl was the one she hated the most in that class. But Carl did things that will make Krista believed that he was sincere for the feeling she had for Kristia. They were the class love team, after few months Kristia agreed with Carl to be his girlfriend but not that serious. They had a relationship but not a commitment, their relationship was illegal and it’s a secret. Kristia was afraid for the people around them, for the teachers, students and staff because anytime they might catch and will report in the office of about their relationship. Seeing each other was enough for them to continue their affair even without talking. Carl always making a letter for Kristia and surprised in the way he can do. That efforts proved Kristia that Carl was a good man and have a pure heart.
Second Year
Having a high average of grades Kristia was sent in first section, even though she doesn’t like to transfer she did follow the decisions of her grandma. Another adjustment for new standards, new classmates, new surroundings and new teachers she needs to meet and get along with. At first some of her classmates don’t like to be her sit mate especially the boys for the reason that they were afraid that Kristia will tell her grandma the negative comments they were making about the school. Few weeks passed then Kristia already got many friends, almost the whole class. One time she asked her friends in first section, why were their looking bad at her when she was choosing a section before. They replied Kristia that they were mad at her because of the chance given to her to become a first section even she was only a transferee. Kristia called as “Nay” in their group because she set as the mother of her friends.
Third Year High School
Kristia was still a student of first section. She got high grades in exams but she didn’t allow her grandmother to sign and see her test papers. She felt that her Mother should in that place rather than other people. Kristia rebelled and acted like a child, she done things that made her worse. In mid of November also third quarter of her third year, Kristia was deported in Nueva Ecija because of the bad attitude she was performing in Bulacan. The past relationship of her with Carl was also discovered, they saw all the love letters given by Carl in Kristia’s cabinet and they do believed that Kristia and Carl still had a relationship.
Some school refused Kristia to admit because it was already too late to transfer. Only the directress of Brilliant Montessorians School Gena Hernandez Vallarta accepted her to transfer in their school. Gena was her adviser and a co-teacher of her mother before. Number of students in Brilliant were few and the school was not that big, She met new friends and one of them was Karyl Louise Vallarta her very best friend Playing with the kids in school kept her busy , talking with the teachers made her comfortable. In that school she first experienced how to cut a class. Kristia and her friends set their classroom and transformed it like a boarding house, she brought blankets, pillows, stuff toys
And post in their door “room for rent”, she was certified promoter of doing those crazy things. She just enjoying that she didn’t feel in her previous school.
My Life Being Single
As a teenager just few years ago, Kristia have been so careless with everything she does. She overused her right for freedom and believed that's part of being a teenager. She wanted to try everything. And when she wanted something she don't let anyone to interfere with her, even her parents. During high school, she wanted to spend a lot time with friends. But it was hard for her to have a bonding with her friends because she was living with a conservative grandmother and a mansion house that similar to jail that time the worse thing is that she was also the school directress. It was so horrible it seems like she’s in a quarantine at school even at house. It was so hard that wherever she goes it seems that all eyes were on her. And so the more she reprimanded to go home early yet she disobeyed. There were times when used to bribe their housemaid just to let her sneak out of the house. She doesn’t know, she just wanted to be free that time and have fun. Until one time her grandmother reported all her actions to her mother including the declining grades at school and it really made her mother so sad. She has never seen her mother that sad before maybe she was so disappointed to Kristia. Her mother doesn't expect her to be so irresponsible for her actions. That time Kristia thought they'll stop in sending her to school and have grounded. But on the contrary, her mother was so patient and told Kristia that she will give her another chance to prove her self to her mother. That she will be a better and obedient daughter to her. Till then she have realized she should be serious with her studies. Kristia was a teenager, a youth and therefore should be free and enjoying life. Yet she should remember that she is accountable for her deeds and so she should be responsible enough in very action she made.
Three Unforgettable Friends in Brilliant
In third year she met a second high school student Karyl Vallarta, their relationships developed instantly because of having the same interest. They were calling each other as “Bok”. She’s the one the other was Joan Marie Mapala, a first year student and a generous friend of Kristia. Joan treated Kristia as her sister and vice-versa. They were calling one another as “Pot”, Kristia always accompany Joan when going home that’s the reason why Kristia got home late most of the time. Lastly, her P.E teacher Joy Empaynado she called “Love”. These three were best of her friends during high school.
End of High School Life
High school life was cherished by Kristia, because she learned a lot of things especially when it comes in a relationship. The last year of being high school, she continued her studies with efforts in order to maintain her standing. She was compiting all the activities in school and at end of the school year she was at the blaze of glory as she excelled in all subjects.
College Days
Principal Platinum Scholarship was grated to Kristia by Gena that was given by Asian Institute of E-Commerce for any two year course. Kristia didn’t take any examinations in other school because of her own reasons. Two days before the class Kristia was accompanied by her mother to inquire in A.I.E and after the conversation with the registrar. She was enrolled as she and take the course of Hotel and Restaurant Services.
First Year
Kristia went to school early during her first day, in fact the school was closed when she arrived. Excited for college life but she felt nervous at the same time. All the students around her have a company while was alone. She was smiling in every student she sees, and then she got friends. Orientation and passing of other requirements were held that day. They were the second batch of students in A.I.E because it’s a new established school.
In class they were thirty two students but there still transferees added to them. Mitch Asuncion their computer instructor became their adviser, Kristia liked her for giving high grades. Kristia studied everyday in order to prepare in any quizzes, recitation, and test. She was the brightest pupil in the class during the first semester. Later on she become tired in studies, she got a passing grades but that high.
Kristia was first boarded in an apartment located at Del Pilar, Cabanatuan City owned by Mrs. Grace, a few minutes walk to the college. She convinced her mother by telling that she was with a professor in boarding house. She was Alona Diaz a professor and accounting staff in their school. Kristia was closed to Alona and treated as her mother.
While boarding, Kristia sees a lot of temptations and because she was easily to influence, and because of pakikisama. She tried doing things even if it’s not good. She tried to drink alcohols until she becomes addicted to it. Her allowances didn’t use well instead she used it for the gimiks and lakwatcha. Kristia was a nice board mate in the sense of being clown and generous to them. This was the time Kristia learned to go to school late and not prepared. Her grades declined again but she didn’t care, she didn’t want her mother to expect too much for her and for some reasons. In her course she exposed outside and be more confident.
Second Year
Kristia wants to transfer in a better school but she can’t do it because of the contract in A.I.E, she must finished first the two year course she was taking before to transfer or else she will pay all the discounts granted for her.
In their school there are only two sections of H.R.S and they combined to make them one. Kristia met again new friends, she continued studies while enjoying with those people. They became more intimate to each other.
Some of those who became very influential to Kristia when she was in college were the three professors in A.I.E. They were Ma’am Alona, Ma’am Charm and Ma’am Dawin. They touched the life of Kristia and taught her about things she can’t understand. They became also the adviser and mentor of Kristia. A.I.E was memorable for her one reason was because of them.
Present Life
Kristia is now a graduating student with a course of Hotel and Restaurant Management in A.I.E College. On May 29, 2010 this will happen. She still finishing all the requirements that need to pass and must take a summer class this vacation and have
on job training in a hotel for her to march in their graduation.
She was sad everyday when thinking about her close friends that will leave her soon. Hard for her to say goodbyes, good memories and happy moments with them made her cry. She valued them as a family.
Somehow Kristia feels happy because of the comfort of her special someone.

UPGRADE our Think?ng
Last March 4, 2010 our school with the helped of A.P.L group (student organization) conducted a seminar, which they called “The Leadership Edge”. At first, most of the 2nd year H.R.M students including me don’t want to attend that meeting, because we thought it was boring! And also because of the 30 pesos we must pay for that seminar (kuripot kami!) ^_^. But we have no choice, our school director declared that we can’t take our midterm exams if we fail to attend.
Victory Center in Zulueta was the place they chose to held the seminar. Pastor Arnold Pascual was our main speaker and he titled our topic as “WINNING ATTITUDE”.
“My attitude determines who I am! And who I am dictates what I do”
One of the quotations I learned in our seminar. Yah! It’s true that my attitude dictates my performance. It can work for me or even against me.
Bloggers….I’ll share to you some details I’ve learned from The Leadership Edge.
Let’s start with the definition of Attitude…
ATTITUDE is our response in life.
Why it is important?
It’s important because our life is 10% situation and 90% reaction(response or attitude). Which means…the bigger percentage is still in our hands! it depends to us how we handle every situation.
The difference between a person’s skill and person’s success is..”ATTITUDE”. It can make us or break us! It’s an inward feeling expressed by behavior. Expressed also through our beliefs.
It’s the libarian of our past, Speaker of our present, And prophet in our future.
Our attitude determines our approach to life.
We can be a looser or a winner. In our perspectives, we must be a positive thinker.
Change can’t come from others, it must come from us!
Our attitude determines our relationship w/ people.
I believe in saying…that no man is an island. If you have a nice attitude, it’s easily for you to have friends and get along w/ other people. Know how to build a good relationship w/ others because we can’t exist w/out the people around us.
Why relationships treated as disposable today?
Simply because of our “PRIDE”.
We should know how to fix small problems and don’t make it more complicated.
War is not the answer! We must accept and understand the differences of every individual. Know how to say sorry.
“It’s not forgetting the person but forgiving the person”. Ouch! I remembered my X best friend in that line. Hmmmm…napatawad ko naman na siya.
Admitting our wrong doings are good factor but jealousy has no room in a relationship (pero ang hirap noh? lalu na kapag mahal mo ang isang tao).
Our attitude is only difference between success and failure.
According to Douglas MacArthur “There is no security on this Earth. There is only opportunity!”
When we watched the video of Derek Redmond, I almost cry. Actually, deep inside my heart it was raining. I'm touched! I'm Inspired and I realized things.....
Sadly, I can't share the video to you, I don't know how to download. I'll just give you the URL of it and try to watch it too! :)))
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0t-NAum8kY8Everybody wants to be a winner. But sometimes winning is not just about finishing first.
The spirit of sportsmanship makes each of us a winner, whether we hold the trophy or not.
It's not whether you get knocked down, It's whether you get up!!!
My blog gets to long….
baka hindi nyo na basahin, dami ko kasi talagang natutunan. Don’t worry I’ll finished it in last 2 paragraphs.
Well, I'm so happy to became part of that seminar, sulit talaga! For only 30 pesos we enjoyed being there. I'm planning to exhort what I've learned in our youth fellowship. Our speaker has taken great efforts to make the topic meaningful and collaboratively to make the students upgrade their thinking.
On the whole, the seminar aims to make the students of A.I.E prepare for life…
L-eadership,I-ntegrity,F-aith and E-xellence.
I enjoyed March 4! We attended a seminar, we ate in eat all you can and watched movie until 8 pm but behind that enjoyment I forgot, that day was also the day of my “ate see”. I didn’t greet her. Waaaaaa….I’m Guilty! (kailangang gumawa ng paraan).

HoT ChoColoCo!
IN or OUT, am i IN or OUT…????
HOTTAHhhh! HOTTAHhhh!
I know that summer is already there.
We can feel it anywhere…
But I believe hot choco is still IN everywhere!
I can’t make an experiment of drinks which is cold because of my sore throut. So I preffered to make a hot choco with the combination of one of our favorites“Palaman”_Peanut Butter ! Which I called as “Hot Chocoloco.”
Here are the affordable ingredients of it:
2 mugs of water (I used beeeeeg mug)
5 Tbsp of
3 ½ Tbsp of Peanut Butter (of couse,I used Branded-hehehe)
2 ½ Tbsp of Refined sugar
2 Tbsp of Full cream milk (Alpine is the best)
PROCEDURE:
*Boil the water until it becomes hot. Mix the cocoa followed by the peanut butter, wait until it melts. Combine the refined sugar and lastly the Full cream milk. You can also add 1 piece of yema candy (optional) ^_^. Put this hot choco in your favorite mug. This is good for 2.
Take note:*You can add or minus the measurement of that ingredients. Specially the amount of sugar . It’s up to you! it's up to your taste. And if you want a smooth texture of hot Chocoloco, just strain it before drinking.
Finished product is already yummy but it ‘s better if you put whipped cream on the top of this hot chocoloco and grated chocolate as toppings.
I can’t show you a picture of my Hot Chocoloco w/ whipped cream on the top because the nestle all pupose cream I brought is not yet cold.
I’ll just teach you how to make the whipped cream instead.
*Simply chill the all purpose flour overnight. Pour into bowl and beat until stiff. After that you can now put it on the top of the hot chocoloco.
Higop..higop..
We Filipinos love hot choco… most of us, drink this in the morning as their breakfast (lalu na yung mga walang gana at yung mga nagmamadali palagi). It’s a good combination with “pandesal” Students like me drink it when studying at the midnight.
Masarap talaga..
Hmmmm...So much for that.
I’m tired!
H.R.M 2nd year….wow! we’re already busy at school. It’s that true???hahhaha
Sir Moses, Please come back to A.I.E and be our father sauce again!
Papakatino na ko!
yes! my new post na ulet ako!
